My Philosphy on Ratings: I rate my listings as MINT if there is no discernible difference between the item offered for auction and a new copy of the same item, vinyl must have no marks, scratches, fingerprints, or even dust for me to consider MINT, anything less will be duly noted and graded appropriately. Jackets that have no apparent wear are considered MINT, even the slightest of wear, I will downgrade appropriately. I sell only from a single private collection which was maintained to the highest standards (see "About the Collector" below). All factory sealed / unopened items will be listed as MINT unless there is obvious wear or degradation to the outside, I will then downgrade appropriately. Inner sleeves may have a crease or fold, I don not consider this cause for downgrading, however if the inner sleeve is seam split or torn I will make a note and degrade appropriately. I do not play the vinyls, I don't have equipment to do them justice, if they were played, they were never played on anything less than true audiophile equipment, I do a visual inspection on each one, if I see something I will note it.

About the seller: Darrell Johnston inherited an extensive vinyl collection (nearly 1000 LPs) from his late brother Paul Johnston of Tucson AZ.

About the Collector (PJ): PJ was a true audiophile. He was extremely caring of his vinyl collection, many albums were played only once (to record onto tape) and some were never opened. The last phono cartridge I know he had purchased was an Ortofon MC2000, he had both Grace and SME tone arms, if you recognize these, you know he cared for quality.

About the sale:  I absolutely will not accept any returns, playing with an inferior cartridge/stylus can damage the vinyl. All pictures are of the exact item in it's current condition. If the image has a "Ripple" is is due to the shrink or other wrapping.  NOTE: Original Shrink does not mean unopened, if the album is unopened it will be explicitly stated as such. If the original contained "extras" such as posters or special liner notes, please check the description to see if they are noted, if they are not noted -PLEASE CONTACT ME as they may be there and I have forgotten to list or make a note.

About shipping: I will ship USPS Media Mail. LPs are shipped in mailers specifically designed for shipping vinyl recordings, they are marked "FRAGILE" and "AVOID EXCESSIVE HEAT". All shipments are insured and have tracking numbers, DO NOT ACCEPT SHIPMENTS WITH OBVIOUS PACKAGE DAMAGE. If your purchase never arrives - please check the tracking number, then contact me, after an appropriate time I will refund your purchase.
