For auction is JOE HENDERSON's "Page One", on Blue Note, BLP 4140, 1963, MONO. This is a genuine, first mono press as determined by NO deep-grooves on either side; has "43 West 61" address on back jacket; dead wax carries the Plastylite "ear" plus Van Gelder stamp; hand-etched Cat #'s are correct; and laminated front cover. It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides complete. The sound is very clean with no auditory issues at all.  Plays beautifully.
Visually, the vinyl is VG+ or better, with no flaws to report.
The sleeve is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws of note. It's clean, with solid seams and corners all around. Laminated cover is beautiful. There is a radio-station catalogue sticker on front top left. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. A rare record, in great condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $150.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
