S : Sealed at factory and never opened. Record is assumed to be undamaged and mint, but this cannot be proven until the album is actually opened and the disc examined.
M : The record is in brand new condition, absolutely perfect.
NM : This grade is used for records that appear virtually flawless but not perfect. Few minor scuffs can appear on the record.
EX : The record shows signs of having been played, may have minor scuffs and scratches but nothing that is obvious.
VG+ : Visible surface wear, scratches and scuffs.
VG : Even more surface wear, scratches and scuffs.
It may have a little dust. If there is some dust, just make sure to clean it before you play.
