Don Pullen & Milford Graves          In Concert Yale University       stereo ?   PG-286   w  typewritten insert & Hand Painted Cover THIS NOT A REISSUE.  SUPPOSEDLY PRESSED IN AN EDITION OF 100.   I won't go the "holy grail", "icon" etc route.   NO NEED TO SAY HOW RARE THIS ONE IS.

Don Pullen (p), Milford Graves (d) Recorded 1966

 The record looks and plays VG++. Record plays with very well with strong music.  Occasional very light surface noise can be heard during quiet passages, probably due to pressing quality.  No repetitive noise. Grooves are bright, glossy and  do not show wear or damage and look unplayed or nearly so. There's some light scuffing on Side 1 which is not into the grooves and does not affect play.  Side 2 looks quite clean with only a small area of light scuffing.

LISTEN FOR YOURSELF TO THE SOUND CLIP BELOW.

 The cover is VG++.

    The front cover looks bright. The art work is clean and beautiful. The colors bright and unfaded. The brush strokes are strong and vivid and it is obvious that it is an original painting.  The corner at the bottom of the pocket is heavily worn.   The corner at the bottom of the spine is slightly dented. The corners on the top seam are tight and sharp. The back cover is bright and shiny with a small piece of the slick missing near the top of the spine.  Spine is intact and clean.  No split seams. No Tape.

 The typewritten insert is included.  It is on thin "letter" typewriter paper and is faded.  It looks to me like it was individually typed (Iooks like a few mistakes were corrected) and not mimeographed.

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

I WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY.  PLEASE DO NOT ASK.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
