PMC 1202, original UK 1963 black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. a unusual set of record labels as each of the record labels have the text, ‘XEX 421/2’ and ‘Recorded first published 1963’ printed more over to the right !,
2. an early original sleeve made by the company of, E J Day,
3. the sleeve is made of the original, thick / heavy card, later sleeves were made of a much ‘thinner’ card,
4. comes with its original, ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in good++ condition, the front is laminated. The laminated front has little in the way of ‘thumb’ creases. The spine is in very good condition and has remained white and straight for its age and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges have remained clean for their age. The rear of the sleeve features the original period, tri ‘flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the rear there is some attempted repairs to the top and bottom ‘flip backs’ near to the opening edges. On the rear there are two names and addresses and another name written, that have been crossed out in blue / black pen.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. A good clean, original inner sleeve for its age. Theres NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. On one side there is a 10mm and a 20mm tear around the ‘die cut hole’ and a 30mm edge split to one side edge where it meets the opening edges.
THE RECORD: each side is in good+ condition. The record is made from the period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: XEX 421 – 1N and XEX 422 – 1N,
The mother / stampers are: ‘1 AD’ and ‘4 MP’.
THE AUDIO: each side plays very good+, each side plays with some ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period, mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: each of the record labels are in very good condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the sleeve is fully laminated. The laminate has remained clean and glossy for its age. The spine is in very good condition, it has remained strong and straight and has some laminate loss and has some discolouring, but most of the text on the spine is readable. The four opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean for their age. When the ‘gatefold’ sleeve is opened the original exposed top two ‘flip backs’, ie fold over edges can be seen. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. On the front panel, there is some wear to the centre of the top and bottom edges.
THE CARD INSERT: the original DARK green cardboard cut-out insert is present and is in poor condition, as one third of the ‘cut outs’, have been ‘cut out’. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the insert.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the period EMI plain white, ‘Patents applied for’, text inner sleeve. The two opening edges are clean and unworn. There are NO tears, stains, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. An excellent and well preserved sleeve.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good++ condition. Side two is in very good+ condition. The record is made from the period 1960s ‘thick’, heavy vinyl. The record has remained dark and glossy.
The matrix are: XEX 637 - 1 and XEX 638 - 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘37 ARM ’ and ‘19 RHR’.
THE AUDIO: each side plays very good+, each side plays with some light ‘crackle’ and some ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period, mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
