FLEETWOOD MAC New 2020 RARE 1982 MIRAGE TOUR LIVE CONCERT 2 VINYL RECORD SET

Following the staggering success of 1977's Rumours, and despite the emotional and physical liaisons between band members - augmented too by an enormous narcotics habit in certain quarters - Fleetwood Mac released the stylistically experimental and critically acclaimed follow-up Tusk in 1979. The band toured worldwide for 18 months in support of the new record - documented on the 1980 album Fleetwood Mac Live - which they followed with a year-long hiatus to focus on solo projects. They returned in 1982 with Mirage, a more commercially focussed album than its predecessor, with which Mac attempted to recapture the financial success of Rumours. The record went double Platinum in the U.S., remaining at No. 1 on the Billboard chart for five weeks. Mirage spawned six singles of varying success, with 'Hold Me', 'Gypsy' and 'Love In Store' all breaking the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100; 'Gypsy' also laid claim to being the world's most expensive music video at the time. In contrast to the Tusk outing, the Mirage tour was a more modest affair, visiting just 18 cities in America. On the 22nd October 1982, Fleetwood Mac played the world-famous Forum in Inglewood, California, a show that is now available on this 2 VINYL RECORD SET. Presented here and playing host to a wide selection of Fleetwood Mac classics including 'The Chain', 'Go Your Own Way', 'Tusk' and 'Gypsy', this recording serves as testament to how the group had remained a magnificent live unit some five years after their most successful period of all. A MUST HAVE VINYL RECORD for any fan!

The Chain, Rhiannon, Eyes Of The World, Gypsy, Love In Store, Not That Funny, Tusk, You Make Loving Fun, I'm So Afraid, Go Your Own Way, Blue Letter, Sisters Of The Moon, Songbird
