Available is a brand new, sealed copy of a vinyl LP of the original motion picture soundtrack to the 1978 film GREASE - featuring the vocal talents of Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta along with Sha-Na-Na and others. This is a double album (2 records) housed within a gatefold cover.
This pressing was likely produced in the late 70s following the smash release of the film given that it features a promotional sticker touting the multitude of hits spawned by the movie (see photo #5 for an example of this). The presence of the RSO akabeko mascot on the reverse (lower right corner) also supports this since RSO was eventually absorbed by PolyGram after a certain period in the early 80s. There is also some residue of neon orange price tag situated at the top right corner of the front of the LP (see photo #6).
This item is still sealed in its original shrink-wrap, never opened or played. This copy is what's referred to as a 'cut-out' as there's a small cut to the sleeve situated at the lower left-hand corner of the LP (see photo #3 and #4 for the front and back of how this appears)... this is a marker to indicate this was either a promotional or giveaway copy, the cut should NOT affect the vinyl LPs contained within given that it is situated somewhat distant from where the
