Up for consideration is a nice NM-/NM- RARE MONO 1ST PRESSING of "FREAK OUT" by THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION (FRANK ZAPPA) which was pressed in 1966 on the blue VERVE LABEL. The very shiny vinyl exhibits only a few light lines and scuffs when being examined under a bright light. It's cover displays very little or no wear on both the exterior and interior gatefold covers. There is a name printed on the upper left corner on the back cover (see pictures). The labels also show very little wear (a little around the spindle holes) but exhibit a quality appearance. MONO COPIES ARE VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND. You will find that this copy has the much wanted "HOT SPOT BLOB" which is located inside the gatefold cover. I have found that ZAPPA LPS are very hard to find in top condition! (kinda like The Stones, Alice COOPER, Ozzie, etc. because of the crazy/euphoric environment they promoted and were played in). For the ZAPPA collectors, this quality/rare pressing will either fill a big void or be the upgrade that you've been holding out for!
