 "Philanthropique"is a varied musical mixture of Afro-Trance, Brazilian Jazz and Funk, recorded with a well-rehearsed band at various festivals including bass, drums, percussion and a brass section. Depending on the musical mood, Fabrice Franck Henri will additionally expand the instrumentation of the respective tracks to include different musicians and singers from Brazil, France, Angola and Canada. Thus, the producer and DJ put on his fifth album for the first time special emphasis on the collective development of his dancefloor-oriented, percussion-driven songs and quiet ballads, whereas earlier recordings were rather purist with a lot of samples at the Akai MPC were composed.
