Glad I'm In The Band~1969 LP in MINT MINUS/NEAR MINT Condition, Jacket is *VG+. *Both jackets have a slight cut corner, otherwise these covers are still in the original shrink and in excellent condition!! *he became widely-known for his electric guitar instrumentals, including the 1963 hit singles, Memphis and Wham!. In them, he introduced "edgy, aggressive, loud, and fast" blues solos to the prevailing chords-and-riffs format of early rock guitar. Over the next decade, the albums's guitar tracks served as a "model" for the emerging lead guitarists of two new genres: blues-rock and its stylistic offshoot, Southern rock. In the process, they raised the bar for rock guitar virtuosity and played a leadership role in the electric guitar's rise to the top of melodic soloing instruments in rock!
