Visually graded Vinyl: VINYL is MINT MINUS, Jacket is VG, some minor staining and a patch were the back cover was torn away, and a chomped top right corner!-see photos). UK IMPORT ISSUE! **The songs from David Bowie's self titled debut album and its singles, plus later Deram Label works, have been recycled in a multitude of compilation albums including this one. Bowie's influences at this stage of his career included the theatrical tunes of Anthony Newley, music hall numbers by acts like Tommy Steele, whimsical 'British' material by Ray Davies of the Kinks, Syd Barrett's psychedelic nursery rhymes for the early Pink Floyd, and a certain Edwardian flair, sort of a rock and vaudeville and music hall hybrid! (Ziggy Stardust it ain't!)
