Radio shows were first syndicated on reel to reel tape, later on LP stereo discs, then CD's and now digitally. Collectors can no longer get their hands on this quality material so the surviving shows that are available will keep going up and up in value. These radio shows were never intended for public use & most were destroyed or returned to the manufacturer after use, so they're very difficult to find.

Legendary disc jockey Scott Muni was one of radio's premier voices of the 1980s and 1990s. Among his many memorable shows was his three year run of the weekly "Ticket To Ride" show; a one-hour special entirely dedicated to The Beatles. Each show was rich of in-depth analysis, reliable research and notable guests. D.I.R. Broadcasting in New York produced the show which aired nationally. 

Each episode of 'Ticket To Ride' was pressed on two records, each side containing 15 minutes of radio programming. These exclusive records were distributed to radio stations in major markets across the U.S.A. and usually only aired once. Now, over three decades later, they have become highly collectible and sought after.  This Double LP Music & Interview Radio Special was distributed by D.I.R. Broadcasting and was delivered to radio in a generic mailer.  This show includes both cue sheets & has been stored in a generic die cut record cover for protection and is in Mint minus condition.  This episode, "Rarities" was show # 97 and was broadcast on Dec 5, 1986, almost 33 years ago!  Please see photos of the cue sheets for detailed track listing and timeline.
