I ship all vinyl records in a sturdy cardboard LP box via USPS Media Mail. I add extra cardboard and/or bubble wrap to fill the space so the record doesn't shift around inside the box. The record is removed from the cover to prevent seam splits and both are put in a protective plastic sleeve.
