Hasil Adkins –
"Get Out of My Car" b/w "D.P.A. Blues"
Original 1966 pressing on Avenue Records!
45 RPM 7" record
This is a pretty rare Hasil Adkins single, released on Avenue in 1966. The A-side is "Get Out of My Car", and the B-side features "D.P.A. Blues". This has only been reissued once (in 2012, by Norton).
The vinyl looks really nice, overall. I'm grading this as very good plus (VG+). There are a couple of surface scuffs on side B, but for the most part, this record is pretty clean. (I did shine a brighter flashlight at it, which does reveal some minor abrasions... but nothing too concerning.) Side A sounds pretty clean, while side B does have some light surface noise - but I did not notice any ticks, pops, or anything else that overpowered the music.
The label on side A is nice, but there are a couple of issues with the label on side B. As shown on the pictures, there is a large blue X drawn on the right side. There is also a noticeable diagonal scratch on the same label between the word "Avenue" and the blue X. It's just deep enough to catch a fingernail, but no deeper than that.
We ship all records inside of their jackets, unless otherwise instructed. If you want us to remove the record from the sleeve before shipping, please note that when remitting payment.
