Three O'Clock - Vermillion - 1988 Vinyl LP - FACTORY SEALED! (Prince, Paisley Park)
Condition is New (Mint). Ships via USPS Media Mail.
Unopened copy of "Vermillion" straight outta 1988. This is the album the Three O'Clock recorded for Prince's Paisley Park record label. The Purple One himself wrote the single, "Neon Telephone." The Three O'Clock's awesome version here features backing vocals by Wendy and Lisa, from Prince's band the Revolution (and memorable from the movie Purple Rain). Prince's demo version of this song will undoubtedly show up on a future Prince release. Hard to imagine the Prince Estate won't release more collections of demos after the well-received album, "Originals," from 2019. The jacket of the album is well-preserved in a snug shrink wrap. There's a hole punch near the upper right corner. And the punch caused a small cellophane tear around it. I use Discogs/Goldmine grading standards. Because of the hole punch, the highest grade I can give the jacket is "VG+." But everything's in fine shape. Just a small, light crease in that area. See the pics I've posted. Couple other things to mention. The album uses Direct Metal Mastering (DMM). Audiophile-types generally agree that's a good thing! And it was pressed at Specialty Records Corporation in Olyphant, PA, a well-regarded pressing plant. Paisley Park 9 25717-1. Dig through my listings for more finds from the Awesome 80s! SELLER TERMS:
GREG VALENTINE AS 'ELVIS COOL J.' Former radio DJ, longtime record/music collector, and active seller here and elsewhere. Bringing a handful of my listings to eBay. These are select items from my personal collection. Currently only selling and shipping to folks within the United States. Buyer pays for shipping.
SHIPPING: All shipping is by USPS Media Mail, generally within 24 hours of purchase (weekends excepted). As a frequent buyer, I ship the way I like packages to arrive. Your items will be packed carefully and securely with protective cardboard fillers (and additional bubble wrap, when appropriate). In some cases, I may reuse sturdy packaging to help save trees. All albums ship outside the jacket in brand new MoFi polys with jacket and poly-sleeved vinyl inside a protective poly outer. All 45s are shipped similarly, just different brand polys. And naturally, cassettes are shipped with the same care. Tracking info is always provided to you once items are shipped.
LISTING ACCURACY: Like you, I buy a lot of stuff on eBay and other sites. So, it’s crucial to me that an item is correctly listed. All my items have been carefully and exactingly listed. That means you're seeing all the correct info about the pressing, such as year, first press or reissue, and most times, what pressing plant. I also make a point to note when it’s unclear what pressing a sealed item is. That said, I welcome any question you have about any item. I’ve been known to ask a few myself when I’m buying.
RETURNS: Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping in the unlikely event an item needs to be returned (unless there's been a crucial error in the listing or description). If there’s any issue with your order, it can almost certainly be resolved satisfactorily. Simply let me know right away.
