For auction is "VINCE GUARALDI -- In Person," on Fantasy 3352, MONO, DG, 1963.
SOUND: VG+/NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, outstanding clean sound. I would rate it solid NM, but for a few tiny tics in a couple spots. Fantastic playback!
VINYL: VG+/NM
There are a couple very faint scuffs on side A, completely superficial, and side B looks near-mint. Overall, very nice condition. The deep-grooved maroon/gold Fantasy labels have a few faint spindle marks, but are overall very nice condition, with a "promo" stamp on side B.
JACKET: VG+
The spine is split center 4 inches, but top and bottom edges are solid. The corners are nice, just minimal wear. The laminated front cover is clean and great condition, but has a "promo" sticker and a catalogue sticker. The back is very bright and clean.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
A beautiful copy! Plays terrifically! No reserve, bidding starts at $20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
