THIS LP WAS PURCHASED BY ME IN 1981 IN W.O.M IN COLOGNE GERMANY

I HAVE PLAYED IT JUST THE ONCE UNTIL TODAY AND IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY STORED SINCE THEN

THE RECORDS

THE LABELS

THE LABELS ARE IN TOP CONDITION, BOTH COLOURS ARE UNRUBBED AND DEEP AND RICH IN HUE

THE BLACK TYPEFACE IS ALL PERFECTLY LEGIBLE AND UNRUBBED.

THE SPINDLE HOLE IS UNWORN WITH JUST ONE SMALL AND BARELY VISIBLE SPIDER LINES CLOSE BY, SHOWING THAT THE LP WAS JUST NOT PLAYED

THE VINYL

THE VINYL HAS RETAINED ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL SHEEN, AND LOOKS MAGNIFICENT. THERE ARE NO HANDLING MARKS TO BE SEEN ANYWHERE ON EITHER SIDE, AND EVEN WHEN OFFERED UP TO INTENSE ILLUMINATION THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE OTHER THAN A COUPLE OF WISPY SURFACE HAIRLINES, AND ONE MINUSCULE LITTLE MARK ON TRACK TWO SIDE TWO

PLAYING THE RECORD

I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A FANTASTIC COLLECTABLE VINYL, THAT YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. I HAVE THEREFORE INVESTED IN THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO JUST THAT.

I HAVE RECORDED THE WHOLE LP FROM START TO FINISH AS I ALWAYS DO, BECAUSE I KNOW THAT BIDDERS WOULD LOVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE RECORD THEY ARE THINKING OF BIDDING ON. THIS IS A SERVICE I AM DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER MY CUSTOMERS

THE QUALITY OF THE RECORDING IS INCREDIBLE, WITH EVERY NOTE BEING HEARD CLEARLY. THE PRODUCTION IS PURE FIRST PRESS

THERE IS NO HEAVY BACKGROUND CRACKLE AND NO LOUD CLICKS

NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE AND NO MORE THAN THE ODD TINY SPECK OF AUDIBLE STATIC IN SOME LINKING GROOVES

I DIDN'T HEAR ANY  STATIC DUST TICS DURING THE WHOLE PLAYTHROUGH, JUST THREE LIGHT ROTATIONAL POPS WHERE THE SMALL MARK IS ON SIDE TWO

THE PERFORMANCE I AM SURE YOU WILL AGREE ONCE YOU HAVE HEARD THE RECORDINGS IS MAGNIFICENT.

I AM HAPPY TO GRADE THIS PLAYTHROUGH AS MINT MINUS

PLEASE TAKE A LISTEN AND JUDGE IT AGAINST YOUR STANDARDS THOUGH

THE SLEEVE

NON LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE

THE FRONT SURFACE IS FLAT AND CLEAN AND THE COLOURS ARE ALL RICH AND VIBRANT

NO CREASES OR CREASE LINES ANYWHERE ON THE MAIN BODY OF THE COVER

THE FOUR CORNERS ARE STILL SHARP AND SQUARE. NO RING WEAR OR RECORD SHAPE

THERE IS A LIGHT TRACE OF HANDLING TO THE EDGES OF THE SLEEVE AS MIGHT BE EXPECTED ON 40 YEAR OLD LP

THERE ARE EFOUR TINY PRESSURE LINES BY THE SPINE. TWO ALONG THE TOP EDGE, TWOALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE

THE TOP EDGES ARE IMMACULATE WITH ALL OF THE COLOUR FULLY RUNNING FROM CORNER TO CORNER. THE CORNER TIPS ARE UNBLEMISHED

THE BOTTOM EDGES ARE IDENTICAL WITH A PIN PRICK OF RUB TO THE RIGHT CORNER TIPS

THE SPINE IS FLAT AND CLEAN AND ONLY HAS A COUPLE OF PRESSURE LINES VISIBLE ROM THE FRONT SIDE

THE OPENING EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP

THE REAR SURFACE IS AS CLEAN AS THE FONT

OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS TWO PRISTINE INNER PANELS

THE INNER SLEEVE IS  PERFECT WITH NO SPLITS OR CREASES

THE LARGE POSTER HAS TODAY BEEN OPENED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 39 YEARS AND IS IN MINT CONDITION

THIS SLEEVE GRADES NEAR MINT

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
