You saw Mickey Mouse especially in short films, but also in feature films. Ten of his cartoons were nominated for an Academy Award for "Best animated short". in 1942 won "The heartless Knight" (1941, lend a paw) in this category, the coveted award. Mickey got in 1978 as the first cartoon character, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
