Description I AM USING GOLDMINE'S RECORD PRICE GUIDE TO GRADE THIS RECORD I WILL WRITE THE GRADING DESCRIPTION IN MY OWN WORDS, BUT I WILL STAY AS CLOSE AS I CAN TO THE ORIGINAL WORDS ALL RECORDS ARE VISUALLY GRADED THE RECORD OR RECORDS, JACKET AND INNER SLEEVE OR SLEEVES ARE ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT WERE NOTED  

 

ALBUM GRADE: Additional Pictures After Grade Description. RECORD: VG to VG+. The record has very light surface wear. The record grades closer to VG+ but it has a little more surface wear then a straight VG+. Other then that it is in great playable condition. LABELS: VG to VG+ - Original First Pressing Warner Bros Green Labels. Light wear. Side Two has "waldman" written on it. Other then that they are in great shape. SEE PICTURES. JACKET: VG to VG+ - Original Jacket With The Back Upside Down. The jacket has light shelve wear, a little more around the edges. The front has a small mark between the "M" and "A", it is about a 1/4 inch in diameter and on the back, the top left corner has "waldman" written on it. Other then that it is in great shape and has no splits. INNER SLEEVE: VG. The sleeve is intact it just has a bit of discoloration.   GRADE DESCRIPTION BELOW MINT OR M No imperfections can be found on the record, jacket or inner sleeve. The whole album is perfect in every way. NEAR MINT OR NM Near Mint albums should look like they just came off the shelve and that this is the first time it has been opened. The vinyl on a Near Mint record should have no visible flaws and a excellent shine. The label of the record should have no spindle marks from trying to put the record on a player, tears, stickers of any kind or writing. The jacket and the inner sleeve of a Near Mint album should have no seam splits, creases, writing or ring wear. EXCELLENT OR VERY GOOD PLUS (E OR VG+) Very Good Plus albums would basically be a Near Mint except for two or three minor flaws. Vinyl on a Very Good Plus record can have some light surface scuffs, light surface scratches, very light warps and very light signs of handling, all are acceptable as long as they do not affect the sound during play back. The labels can have very light discoloration, very light spindle marks and very light signs of wear. No Writing. The jacket and the inner sleeve of a Very Good Plus album can have some very light wear on the corners and edges. A seam split is acceptable as long as it is no longer then one inch long and is located on the bottom (which is generally considered the most exposed to wear). Cut-out markings are OK. VERY GOOD OR VG A lot of the flaws on a Very Good Plus album will be a lot more noticeable on a Very Good album. The vinyl on a Very Good record will have lost a lot of its original shine. It will have signs of groove wear, light scuffs and light scratches which can be felt with a fingernail. Clicks and pops will be a lot more audible.  Stickers, tape or light writing are OK on the label. The jacket and inner sleeve will have signs of wear and being handled. Wear on the corners and edges will be more visible. All three edges might have seam splits, which at first glance may not be noticeable. Creases and ring wear will be more obvious. Price tags, stickers and writing are OK. GOOD Good graded albums are still playable records and generally are used as a filler until you find something better. Good vinyl will have signs of groove wear and should be able to be played without skipping. Significant clicks and pops can be heard. The labels have signs of wear, like tears and writing. Jacket and inner sleeve of a Good album will have heavy ring wear, seam splits on first sight, price tags, stickers, and heavy writing.
