For sale is SARAH VAUGHAN's "Sassy Swings The Tivoli," on Mercury MG 20831, MONO, DG 1963.
SOUND: VG+  It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, the sound on the playback is outstanding, solid and clean. That said, there is a small area (about 45 seconds) of ticking during A4, "Lover Man." That is the only flaw in this playback, and it isn't egregious. 
VINYL: VG/VG+ There is a small, corresponding feel-able mark in A4, causing the "tick" I described. The rest of the vinyl has some faint scuffs or hairline marks of the superficial variety. The labels are deep-grooved, black/silver Mercury. They have a few faint spindle marks, but otherwise looks good.
JACKET: NM Outstanding, clean condition: edges, spine, front and back. The tiniest bit of wear on the corner. Also, a bit of writing in marker back upper right corner.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
