Ozzy Osbourne – No Rest For The Wicked (1988) No Rest For The Wicked was the fifth studio album for Ozzy Osbourne. Released on the 22nd October 1988 and later re-issued in 1995 and 2002. It went gold in 1988 (and has since been certified as double platinum), peaking at number 13 on the Billboard 200 list. The first album to feature guitarist Zakk Wylde (Ozzy fired his previous lead guitarist Jake E. Lee). Bassist Bob Daisley came onboard for the album after he and Ozzy had patched things up following an earlier falling out in 1985, however as soon as recording was over he was out again and replaced with Osbourne’s Old Black Sabbath bandmate Geezer Butler, who played all the promotional gigs that followed. Lots of singles off this one - Miracle Man, Crazy Babies, Breakin’ All The Rules. All of which had videos made for them. This is therefore a fantastic example of the 80s rock media culture and the music super brand that is/was Ozzy Osbourne. Cover photograph by Bob Carlos Clarke with art direction by John Carver. CBS Associated Records release. Ref: Z42245 / AL44245 First pressing 1988 So, down the album detail – Cover is in great condition overall. There is a ‘hole punch’ top left of cover (see pic) which also appears on the inner sleeve. Inner sleeve features lyrics and more B/W pics by Bob Carlos Clarke. Disc is in very good + condition, plays great with very few pops or crackles.
