XTC ‎– The Big Express (SCARCE Australian pressed 12” Vinyl LP housed in Wheel-shaped sleeve/cover and Inner Sleeve printed in UK thru Virgin ‎– V 2325)\ The Big Express is the seventh studio album by English rock band XTC, released on 15 October 1984 by Virgin Records. It is an autobiographical concept album inspired by the band's hometown of Swindon and its railway system, the Swindon Works. In comparison to its predecessor Mummer (1983), which had a modest, pastoral approach to production, the album features a bright, uptempo sound marked by studio experimentation and denser arrangements, setting a template that they would develop on subsequent albums. LP, Die-cut jacket and inner sleeve in excellent condition.

MINT (M)

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
