Mint: The record is in brand new condition with no marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and items such as booklets or posters are in perfect condition. Any advertised as “Sealed” will be in Mint condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

Very Good: The record has clearly been played often but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. There may be noticeable surface marks or odd light scratches. The sleeve will show normal wear and tear but no major defects.

Good: The record has been played so much that sound quality has deteriorated. There may be some distortion and mild scratches. The sleeve may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine splits and discolouration.

Fair: The record is just playable but displays considerable surface noise and may jump. The sleeve may be torn, stained or defaced.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches or bad surface noise. The sleeve will be badly damaged with bits missing.
