This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.

1961 UK stereo pressing on Decca records of SXL 2182 Rossini Overtures played by The Paris Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Peter Maag. Label is grooved wide band. The label has “Original Recording by” at 10 O’clock. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are ZAL-4326-1D and ZAL-4327-2E.

Grading

The condition of sleeve is VG+, wear to the corners. Visually grade the record as VG+, light marks and scratches on both sides.

It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips, jumps - a little bit of crackle in places so I would audio grade as Excellent.

Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.

Finally, please note that the posting costs will be as follows

Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class £4.10 - UK

Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed For £17.50 - Worldwide
