BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD Apple PCS 7088 STEREO 1969

Very early pressing: the 'first label, revised cover’ version.

EX+ / M- (nearer to M- really)

Test play revealed no skips or sticks. Deep full clean sound. 

No noticeable background noise - not even on the run-in and run-out grooves. 

Clearly been played only a small number of times. 

Sound quality throughout is free from any trace of distortion.

Very fine hairlines (from removing record from inner sleeve) but you only see them if you look at the record up to a very strong light. Otherwise in beautiful condition. Has been stored and unplayed for decades.

No marks or blemishes - not even any noticeable spindle marks.

Dark green apple on A-side. On the left side of the labels “An EMI recording” is printed over two lines, and 33 1/3 is underneath it. ‘Her Majesty’ not credited on B-side label. 

SLEEVE EX+

‘Her Majesty’ not credited on the back sleeve, but the error found on the very 1st pressing (where the apple was misaligned) has now been corrected on this version.

Fully laminated sleeve with no flaps on the back. 

Perfectly structurally sound. No marks, tears or blemishes, and no creases. 

A little bit of ring wear on part of the top of the front cover (see photos).

INNER SLEEVE EX+

Plain white inner sleeve with ‘Patent No…’ printed on it. ‘The Beatles Abbey Road’ has been written in small letters in the top right hand corner with a ballpoint pen (see photos).
