Circles Around The Sun's self-titled third studio album was recorded just one week prior to guitarist and founding member Neal Casal tragically taking his own life. Casal left behind a note requesting the instrumental rock band's surviving members - keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne and drummer Mark Levy - move forward with the band. The surviving members have since made the decision to honor those wishes. MacDougall, Horne and Levy have continued with a rotating cast of guitarists standing in for Casal.
