This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.
US pressing of RCA Victor Red Seal Living Stereo LSC-2449 of Gounod Faust Ballet Music and Bizet Carmen Suite played by the Royal Opera House Orchestra , Covent Garden conducted by Alexander Gibson.
The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are LSC 2449 A BG and LSC 2449 B BG.
Grading
Would grade the record visually as VG+. There is a very faint light scratch across side 2. I have included a photo to show this (see yellow highlight around it). There other marks on the photo are just reflections. It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips or jumps. There is very faint crackle in some places so I would audio grade as VG+ also. Sleeve is VG. A mark on the front sleeve and some wear to the corners. The rear sleeve has some faint ring wear. I have done my best to show this on the photos.
Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
