Led Zeppelin II SD-8236 Mastered by Robert Ludwig with Sterling Sound both sides and pressed at Monarch!
Vinyl: VG, Visual grade, vinyl shows numerous marks mainly when held to the light but still apparent upon inspection Jacket: VG-, Spine and corner wear, wear to the brown spots on the back cover and a long seem split on one side.  Labels: Very nice almost perfect, incredibly clean no with spindle marks
Sound: VG to VG+ depending on tracks but plays nice overall! No scratches that causes repetitive ticks or pops on every rotation, light but present surface noise on the initial lead in of "Whole Lotta Love" just before the music gets loud and on quiet passages; however, songs that are generally quiet overall (few on this album) "What Is and What Should Never Be", "Thank You" both play strong. Keep in mind this is not a NM album that plays like a CD but  those are hard to come by and their cost is outrageous these days. This will be a great way to enjoy what all the fuss is about with the sound of and RL Monarch version without paying the price.
These are just a few more listening notes: Whole Lotta love, surface noise on lead in, dissipates when it gets loud What is and what should never be- same as above Lemon song fairly clean play Heartbreaker Light surface noise Living loving maid plays well Ramble on plays with surface noise on intro, mostly disappears when music starts rocking Moby dick is a loud song clean intro that plays great and the drum solo is mostly surface noise free,  Bring it on home plays nice  Keep in mind, I test LP's on a system with horn speakers and a stylus that is highly sensitive to imperfections, all but the most perfect LP's sound off typical vinyl noises. Your sound results may very but I've found most other systems aren't as revealing and will generally be more forgiving.
