This is a previously unreleased 10" 78 Metal Acetate by
The singer's name may be Bill Bell (it was written in pencil on the paper sleeve, and we've had a couple other acetates with his name on it, which sounds like him)
I Did Everything To Make You Happy (two different versions)
On one side, it starts off with a false take on the song, then started again from beginning to end. One the label it's stamped "REJECT"
On the other side, it's a beautiful slower and longer version of the same song, and the label is stamped "TOO LONG"
Neither song was released, and I don't believe this artist ever made any records.
Sounds to be from the late 1940s or 1950.
Certainly a one of a kind item, and probably the only copy in existence.
The record is in VG to VG+ condition. There is a light filament pressed in the grooves, otherwise it would have been graded higher.
