The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour LP with the complete 24-page picture book.  This is the 1st U.S. release of the album from 1967 on Capital Records MAL 2835, MONO.  The LP record is in Excellent condition and has been tested.  The cover and book are in Very Good+ condition.  Visually the record still has that nice glossy look and both sides have a minimum number of minor scratches.  I sample played a portion of each song on a high-quality turntable and there was very minimal surface noise during the quiet passages and during the “blank” portions between songs but basically you had to be listening for it to even notice it.  It virtually plays like a new record.  The record turns flat on the turntable and thus is not warped.  The front and back sides of the cover have just light wear.  The edges of the cover have light wear but no splits.  There is a small triangular piece missing from the “overlay” on the front cover at the lower right-hand corner.  The first and last pages of the picture book are attached to the gatefold.  The remaining pages have separated from the gatefold but are still stapled together.  The pages of the book are in great shape with just a slight tear at the staple area of the first/last pages due to the other pages separating away.  The white inner sleeve has 6” long pieces of clear cellophane tape neatly wrapped around the 3 closed edges.
