In celebration of the film’s 85th Anniversary, we are thrilled to present the premiere vinyl release of the original soundtrack recording as a deluxe album featuring re-mastered audio, new artwork, and likeness approvals from famed actress Elsa Lanchester’s estate.

THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN is a 1935 horror movie directed by James Whale and starring Boris Karloff & Elsa Lanchester. It is the first sequel to the 1931 film FRANKENSTEIN, and widely regarded as one of the greatest sequels in cinematic history. The film has been praised as Whale’s masterpiece. In 1998, it was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry, having been deemed “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant”.

Sourced from the original master acetates housed in the composer’s archives at Syracuse University and original masters from Universal, the soundtrack album has been meticulously restored and re-mastered. Working closely with Universal Pictures, this historic release marks the very first time the original film music by has been made available on vinyl. The album features new artwork by Phantom City Creative, a 12”x12” booklet including artwork and original scoring session photography, and liner notes by album producer and restoration engineer Mike Matessino.

All of my albums are either Brand New, VG+ or NM.  I rarely list anything below this and will provide many details if I do.  Used albums are from my personal collection.  They will all be test played, and cleaned on a record cleaning machine prior to shipment. 

All my used albums have been stored out of heat and sunlight in a non smoking home.  They have been kept upright, inside odyssey LP cases.  I also store all records in MOFI sleeves behind the cover inside a 3 mil poly sleeve.  I also use Microfiber gloves to handle all of my LP's.

I am adding new items all the time as they arrive in the mail, and will be digging deep into my collection soon to put up some really great albums.  So feel free to watch my store Audiophile Vinyl and Collectibles.

USPS Media Mail is my default shipping method.  If you would like to upgrade to Priority or another carrier, message me and I will figure out the extra cost and give you a quote.  You would just be responsible for anything over $4(which is my personal cost for postage and materials).
All of my albums ship in WHIPLASH mailers with extra padding for safe transit.  Any album that sells for over $100 may require signature confirmation at delivery.
