CONDITION: V / V+ on this DEMONSTRATION record, PATHE 2463 / 2570 issued in 1926 with prewar BLUES on this excellent piano and vocal from the great American composer WILLARD ROBISON who evokes a popular style with "DEEP RIVER BLUES" with an unpretentious arrangement that at once familar and apealing and on the flip side is his orchestra formed about the same time that included the DEEP RIVER vocal quintette, on "DARBY HICKS: AMERICAN SUITE No. 3" including WALTER HOLZHAUS trumpet, JOHN JARMAN on melotone, BOB McCRACKEN clarinet, CHARLES BARNES banjo, NICK FISHER tuba, DOC ROSS drums on a 10" 78 rpm original record -- please see photos -- there a two edge chips -- see photos -- on the Deep River side the chip breaks into the grooves
