Mercury text records by Orson Welles. William Shakespeares "The merchant of Venice".
Complete set of 12 double sided text records in hard bound book with paper sleeves narrated by Orson Welles "The Merchant of Venice". I believe these were used as teaching materials in the mid to late 1930's. Records are in good condition for the most part. Minor chipping on a couple edges. Some scratches and finger prints on them. No cracks or warping. I think a professional cleaning would bring them back. The paper jackets are all there but do have some rips and tears. The hard cover has some bends and minor tears in the top and bottom of the spine.
This would be a perfect addition to a vintage phonograph collection. This would also be a great addition to any shakespeare collection or an Orson Welles collection.
