Promises is a new album by Floating Points, aka Sam Shepherd, and jazz saxophone legend Pharoah Sanders. Recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, the nine-part work is the first new music from Sanders, the 80-year-old jazz luminary, in more than a decade.
The LP comes in a gatefold jacket with die cut shapes that show through to a fantastic painting by visual artist Julie Mehretu.
