As a former music journalist (for Creem and Rolling Stone among other periodicals), director Cameron Crowe has always put his heart and soul into the soundtracks of his films. So, it's no wonder that the most ambitious of all his films, Vanilla Sky, sported the most far-ranging and masterful of all of his scores. The film itself was a waking dream, subject to various interpretations; the soundtrack, too, explored shifting moods and shades, but always maintaining the surreal tone and aesthetic of the film, with a glittering line-up (R.E.M., Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan) of artists. The result was breathless praise for the soundtrack (the New York Times called it 'a music masterpiece') and an Academy Award nomination. It is, quite simply, one of the greatest 'mix-tapes' a film director has ever created (with some help from soundtrack Co-Producer Danny Bramson and Crowe's then-wife, Nancy Wilson of Heart); and, for its 20th anniversary, we have created a custom gatefold cover for the 2-LP release and pressed up 1500 copies in white with orange swirl vinyl. A sublime listening and visual experience awaits.

Hello, and thanks for checking out my listing.  My name is Eric, and I am here to make your Vinyl Record or Collectible purchase as smooth and easy as possible!

All of my albums are either Brand New, VG+ or NM.  I rarely list anything below this and will provide many details if I do.  Used albums are from my personal collection.  They will all be test played, and cleaned on a record cleaning machine prior to shipment. 

All my used albums have been stored out of heat and sunlight in a non smoking home.  They have been kept upright, inside odyssey LP cases.  All my records are stored in MOFI sleeves behind the record cover, inside a 3 mil poly sleeve.  I even handle my vinyl with microfiber gloves to avoid finger prints/oils getting on the vinyl.

I am adding new items all the time as they arrive in the mail, and will be digging deep into my collection occasionally to put up some really great albums.  If you would like to follow my store Audiophile Vinyl & Collectibles to be notified of new listings.

USPS Media Mail is my default shipping method.  Expedited shipping options are available on some listings.  There will be an option of USPS Priority or UPS for $10 extra(rates have risen significantly recently).

 

All of my albums ship in WHIPLASH mailers, usually with one carboard stiffener and bubble wrap.  I try to wrap them in a way that all corners are protected, and so far this method has worked very well :)  I do sometimes use foam pads as well during shipping.  I strive to pack every album/item in a way that best protects it during transit.

All collectibles will be securely packaged using bubble wrap, foam inserts or packing peanuts.  I strive to also pack all collectibles in a way that best protects the product purchased.

Sales tax applies based on location, and is calculated and collected by eBay.

Any album that sells for over $100 will require signature confirmation at delivery.
