For sale is Nina Simone's "Broadway, Blues, Ballads," on Philips PHM 200-148, MONO, DG, Pink-Label Promo Edition,1964.
SOUND: NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The playback is beautifully clean. There were 2 instances when I heard 3 or 4 quick, teenie-weenie tics. That's it. Otherwise, perfect.
VINYL: VG+ or better The vinyl is in very nice condition. Side A has a number of faint, routine hairline marks or scuffs. These are cosmetic, nothing serious. Side B is a notch better, might be NM on it's own. The labels are DG pink "promo" variety. Spindle marks, but otherwise bright and clean.
JACKET: VG+ or better Edges and spine are solid all-around, nice condition. Corners are nice. Has a catalogue sticker upper right front corner, and a promo stamp on the back. Front and back surfaces are bright and clean.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
