STAR WARS COLLECTORS' DREAM COME TRUE!
This original 1977 double LP record set has been tucked away on the shelf since 1977 -- hardly opened. That goes for the original John Berkey "A New Hope" poster (2T-541) -- zero tears or damage. VG+++
The cover is so lustrous, you can frame it as art.
The set is complete with TWO LPs, one double sided liner notes, an order form for Star Wars "May The Force Be With You" T Shirts (only $5 each!!).
The brilliantly preserved John Berkey designed poster, "Star Wars A New Hope" 2T-541, measures 22"x33" (I intentionally did not "over unfold" it, as it has always remained folded inside the album cover). FYI, the same poster -- and only the poster -- highly damaged, recently sold for $66.
And the quote of the century (see close up liner pic):
"Six years ago, George Lucas, the creator of AMERICAN GRAFFITI, began his first draft of a film that is certain to become a milestone in the space fantasy genre."
Can you say "Understatement??" "is certain to become..."??????
You won't find any scratches on this recording, composed and conducted by John Williams and performed March 5-16, 1977 by The London Symphony Orchestra at Anvil Recording Studios, Denham, England. The liner notes provide all Star Wars Movie factoids for hard core fans.
If you want to own a piece of pre-YODA film history -- of galactic proportions -- you'll want to grab this STAR WARS Double Album set -- poster is tucked securely inside album cover.
I will package and ship with loving care.
