HERE'S a swell record from 1929 by BEN POLLACK AND HIS PARK CENTRAL ORCHESTRA:  "BASHFUL BABY." It's a cute tune, and a swell orchestration, but the real feature is the highly motivated, blisteringly hot clarinet solo by BENNY GOODMAN.  He takes a full chorus and leaves no prisoners! This alone is worth the price of admission. A highly recommended side!  

The flip, "I'VE WAITED A LIFETIME FOR YOU" by VICTOR ARDEN - PHIL OHMAN AND THEIR ORCHESTRA is a tune from the M~G~M film, "Our Modern Maidens."  Still a silent in 1929, this Joan Crawford starrer has this song running throughout as background music.  

This original 1929 "Scroll" Victor 22074 is in ever so slightly beat V+ condition. Still plays VERY well.
