JOAN JETT the debut solo album
ORIGINAL BLACKHEART RECORDS 1980 PRESSING
In the spring of 1979 (upon leaving The Runaways) Joan Jett flew to England to record some songs with Steve Jones and Paul Cook of The Sex Pistols. Later that year she returned to the US and finished what would become her first album. Despite the popularity of The Runaways, this debut solo record was rejected by several US labels, thus a handful of copies were released in England. Joan then chose to release the album herself in the US on her own Blackheart Records and eventually signed with a major label. The record was then retitled, "Bad Reputation" and sold world wide.
Listed here is one of the few surviving original Blackheart Records pressings with cover and record both in very good plus condition (plays excellent).
The ultimate gift for any Joan Jett fan and a very rare piece that will continue to grow in value.
