Beaux Arts Trio

Haydn: The Piano Trios

(Philips 6768 077 14 x LP Box Set 1979)

This is an original 1979 14 x LP Box Set. The records look to be unplayed & are in Mint condition! This Box Set was manufactured in Holland specifically for the UK market. It has a heavyweight outer card box which is hinged at the spine. The outer cover is fully laminated. It has its original Booklet.  All 14 records come with their original generic polythene-lined plain paper company inner sleeve. The records have red "Philips" labels & have 1st press matrix stampers.

Box: There are two pin-head sized stains on the front panel. There is a 4 cm hairline laminate split at the top edge of the back panel. There is a smaller 2 cm hairline laminate split, in the same area, on the top edge of the front part of the box set too. Otherwise, superb! NEAR EXCELLENT condition.

Vinyl LP (x 14): All 14 LP's look to be unplayed! They show no, or next to no, sleeve rubs when viewed under a strong light. They all grade either NEAR MINT or MINT condition. The labels are in Mint condition and show no spindle wear. The company inner sleeves is in Very Good+ to Excellent condition. There is some very light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing only. There are no seam splits. Play is superb across all 14 LP's. A top audio copy!

The Booklet is in Excellent+ to Near Mint condition. It shows next to no wear.

I have some other rare UK Classical LP's for sale too. So please see my other listings. Don't miss out!

Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.

We offer worldwide postage. Discount is given on P&P for multiple purchases. I shall always weigh combined purchases to get a completely accurate price.  So please wait for the invoice to be sent before paying. Please see below for a more detailed description.

Please note that there are now VAT import charges from the UK into all EU countries. Anything under 150 Euros will need an IOSS number. VAT is paid at point of sale. For any items over 150 Euros in value. There will be a customs charge too. These vary, I believe, from country to country. Please check your relevant postal service online for details. Please note that these charges are beyond my control and are now the law for outside parcels going into the EU.

    >>  Grading Information All grading is very strict & adheres to 'Record Collector' specifications. However, I have fine tuned them & they are explained below. All vinyl is examined closely under a strong light & play tested.

MINT Condition = As good as a copy you would buy from a shop, immaculate!

NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, maybe a couple of very, very light paper sleeve scuffs that can only be seen under strong light. SOME WOULD CLASS THIS AS MINT. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. Cover is virtually perfect - very minimal wear only.

EX Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows virtually no defects. Maybe one or two light needle scuffs or light sleeve removal marks that can only be seen under strong light. There will be no scratches. Play will be near perfect with no distortion. Cover will be very nice with maybe very minimal creasing, ringwear or edgewear.

NEAR EX Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only; that barely detract from the sound quality. Cover may have slight creasing or ringwear. A very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.

VG Condition = A well played but serviceable copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears. The record will not be trashed!!
>>  Postage Rates

AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU VERY SOON AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. PLEASE WAIT FOR THIS BEFORE PAYING.

Royal Mail have very recently increased their postage rates. So I have revised my postage costs to reflect their increases. (Please note that these prices include packaging costs too)

DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS. SEE PRICES ABOVE.

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7". I use a cruciform box for larger orders (4-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 2-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).

I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £2.00. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...

If you are uncertain about any of the above, or just simply want some information regarding any item, please do not hesitate to contact me. I welcome any questions.

Remember to check out Lots of rare & quality vinyl! Most are UK 1st Pressings. It is quite likely that there will be more records by this artist, or records in a similar vein.
