For sale is the ROLLING STONES' "Aftermath," on London LL 3476, Maroon Labels, Mono, 1966.
SOUND: VG+ or better It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound on the playback is overall very clean and clear. There are a few instances of light, audible surface noise or a few soft tics. Far and few between, and very minor-- I'm just being complete! A fine playback!
VINYL: VG The record plays a ton better than it looks! Visually, there are three marks on side A, two that look like "stains" and one that looks like a scuff. When I saw them, I thought the playback would be severely affected. Not so! I tried (especially with the "scuff,") to hear for an effect on the sound, but really, it's almost nothing. Beyond that, there are routine hairline marks on either side, completely superficial. Being conservative, I graded the vinyl "VG" based on the visual. (The playback is solid VG+, or even better.)
JACKET: NM The jacket is brilliant! A tiny bump on the lower left-front corner, and some very faint ring wear on the front. All else is beautiful!
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
A mixed bag: cosmetically challenged vinyl, surprisingly good playback, and a brilliant jacket! Great value for $35!
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
