This 1971 vinyl release is in excellent condition..Amazing 52 year old record..Cover is embossed with ringwear on the black cover..No poster...Third Black Sabbath album, released on July 21, 1971. Reached #8 on the U.S. album chart, immediately going gold. It was Black Sabbath’s first album to debut in the Top 10.
Also their first album to feature the heavier new sound created by dropping the tuning three semi-tones below the standard E, thus creating the premise for what would become known as the stoner rock sound.
