The 'Loud Cut' issue (Matrices ending -1) had a slightly different studio mix to the more familiar version. 

This was withdrawn after a very brief pressing run & the mix was changed & the stampers re-pressed to have a matrix ending in -4.

It's not really 'louder' but the mix itself has the tonal qualities of louder music with some bass enhancement & a slightly thinner, edgier vocal balance as a consequence of having a little too much compression applied at the mastering stage.

This, given the pressure on the factories at the time, was not a smooth transition & copies do exist with the 'loud cut' -1 matrix on side one & the re-mixed -4 matrix on side two. Also copies exist with 'normal' side one & 'loud cut' side two.

This copy is one of the very first pressed with the -1 matrices on both sides. 

By the end of 1965, all of the presses had the -4 matrices.

This really is a rare record that you would have been hard pushed to find in 1965, let alone nearly fifty years later.

It's Complete with 'Emitex' inner. 
The Ernest J Day front laminated flipback picture sleeve has some slight damage to the front (Please see pictures) & some coffee stains on the back

This is one of 10000 singles LP's, 12” and 7" that I HAVE COLLECTED OVER THE LAST 30 YEARS; they run from the 1950's to the 2000's and cover every style of music.

I am slowly listing them one by one and they are in a verity of condition, most are good or very good, with some in shop purchased condition (i.e. Like new), I don’t have time to play every record listed, (well only the ones I want to listen to), therefore I can’t vouch for the playing condition of this item, however if you want to know how it plays please ask and I will play it and let you know if there is any excessive hissing, scratches and what condition the vinyl is in.

I have kept most of these records for 30+ years plus so my goal is to make sure they arrive with you in the same condition that I have kept them, enjoy bidding and please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them

The record will be packaged in a protective plastic cover and be despatched in a custom cardboard record sleeve with a cardboard backer.

If you purchase more than one single the cost of Shipping is an additional 50p per item won.

If you purchase over 5 singles they are posted in a thick cardboard record box rather than a standard record postage sleeve at no extra cost, which means they are protected from the weather and the postal service, every item has proof of postage.

If you purchase over 5 items and you live are outside the UK, then before we confirm the final shipping costs we need to check with the post office as there may be an additional costs dependent on weight for shipping outside of the UK and as such we may ask for an higher amount than an extra 50p per extra item depending which part of the world you live in and how many items you have purchased.
