From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this piece of classic rock music history. Blondie Radio Special. Chrysalis. 12” single-sided black vinyl. No cat number, no date, but late 1977. Appears to be something like $MX-4675516 run-out matrix. In green Festival Radio Special sleeve. NOT listed on Discogs; this was distributed to Australia media and journalists but unknown where else. Only Deborah Harry, talks about her first album and says they’ve just recorded their second album. This would place it somewhere around June-July 1977 (when the second album was recorded) and February 1978 (when it was released as Plastic Letters). Starts with “In Special. In The Flesh.”. Obviously not the 1981 At Home with Debbie Harry and Chris Stein interview disc. Record in Very Good Plus condition; note disc is single-sided. Green Festival Radio Sleeve in Very Good Plus condition. NOTE: International shipping to Europe and UK will be Express Air Mail (safer); US and Asia will be fine as Standard Air Mail.
