Stan Getz was under contract with Norman Granz,
and needed to use this pseudonym to record.
The dead-wax has the "ear" ... actually it's
the official stamped Plastylite pressing-plant logo.
We photographed the labels so that you can see
that logo in the reflected light of the dead-wax area.
