CAN Ege Bamyasi 1972 Vinyl LP RARE US Pressing UA-LA063-F KRAUTROCK Psych PROG
This is an original 1972 US vinyl pressing of this sought-after progressive rock classic by Can. It rarely comes up on eBay and is coveted by Kraut Rock and Prog Rock completists.
I am not a professional grader, but I do my best and try to be conservative in my grading. I play grade most LPs I sell, when possible.
The cover is in very good condition, given it's age.
It has a cut-out on the bottom left corner that also affects the rare, original inlay. It does exhibit an impression of the vinyl from years of storage. There is also an impression on the left edge near the spine. There is some whiting and shelf wear on the corners and edges. The spine is in excellent shape. Please see the attached photos, as I have attempted to document these issues.
The record is play graded at VG++. It does have some visual flaws.
Side 1 plays with some surface noise evident, especially in the quiet soft passages and during the intro and fade, but the surface noise does not overpower the sound.
Side 2 plays with some surface noise evident, especially in the quiet soft passages and during the intro and fade, but the surface noise does not overpower the sound.
There are a series of “ surface blotches” on both sides of the album. It would benefit from a good, pro cleaning.
I've tried to document as much as possible in the attached photos. I have taken more specific photos of the aforementioned flaws, so if you need to see them, please feel free to contact me.

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
