From a smoke free house.
Please note: I’m selling my parents records so I’m new to selling/dealing with them. I bought a record player to test them out the best I could (it’s not the best one out there so I might not hear some imperfections)…
take this into consideration.
I also don’t have any equipment to clean them properly (vacuum, wet clean or even carbon fibre brush) so it’s recommended to do it before playing for an even better listening experience as they’re beloved 30-40 year old records. Some imperfections are expected like: surface noise, crackles or pops and likely to have dust in the grooves which can affect the sound. As it’s vinyl, dust gets easily attracted to it so expect some dust. There also might be remnants of finger prints.
I try to base the grading from goldmine so have a read of their grading to get an understanding if unfamiliar.
They’ll be packaged well: in a 13 by 13 by 2 inch sturdy box, the record will be separated from the cover with its paper sleeve (to prevent the cover seams splitting during shipment) and put into a plastic polythene peel and seal adhesive bag. Will have some bubblewrap to cushion it on the bottom and top with custom cardboard stiffeners.
