From Mark56 Records and George Garabedian Productions comes this rather scarce, 25 track vinyl LP consisting of some of the earliest known cylinder and disc recordings released before the turn of the 20th century. This vinyl record was released back in 1981 while the actual music was of course released as far back as 1877. The listing of songs and artists is shown on the reverse side of the album cover as revealed in one of the images in our listing. The original music was transferred from fairly good quality sources and reveals very little surface noise and impulse artifacts. This was one of the best Mark56 records ever to be released both in quality and song selection that represented much of the earliest recorded music.
