I've been collecting records since 1986 when I first heard Licensed To Ill by the Beastie Boys and fell in love with music. Through the 1990s record collecting hit a low point in North America as the CD format was introduced to the public and digital took off. You could walk into almost any thrift store and have your pick of records for 25 cents a pop. I never stopped collecting vinyl as my preffered format for music listening and as a result of this I bought a LOT of records during the 1990s (and still do). I'd hear a particular album, or even sometimes just one song, by an artist and then go pick up their entire catalog at the local Value Village for a few bucks! Even after record collecting started to rise again in the 2000's I continued to collect allthough it meant having to pay 'real' money for records I wanted (fortunately I was making money selling new records on eBay by then). At least for the new release records I was buying for my collection I was now able to get them at wholesale, but trust me, most of my disposable income went to feed the habit. As a result over the years my personal collection of records has gotten massive. About 10 years ago I got to over 10,000 records and decided I needed to do something about it since they were taking up way too much space and I didn't really have the time to listen to most of them anyway. As a result the bulk of my collection was boxed up and has been sitting in storage untouched, until now!

This listing is for one big lot of 40 vinyl records (actually more then that if you count each individual record as some are double LPs). These are records that just weren't worth listing individually, either because the condition of the record is rough or it's just not a record most people want. Most of these records tend to be classic rock; artists like Santana, Rolling Stones, Elvis, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, etc. The included pictures are some of the records that are part of the collection these will be pulled at random from. Please note that the pictures are for general reference and we can not make any guarantees about which records you will receive. Feel free to mention any requests and they will be considered when your 40 vinyl records are packed however we can't make any guarantees.  

For over 20 years I have been selling new records on eBay but have pretty much stayed clear of used records since grading them can be a pain in the rear! RECORD CONDITIONS: Varies from poor to great however assume that most of these are in rough shape, that is why I'm clearing them out in one big lot instead of individually. Most of these would be great for hanging on the wall or as art projects. 

SLEEVE CONDITIONS: I have decided not to take the time to grade the sleeves since as they say 'a picture is worth a thousand words'. Please take a close look at the included pictures as they should give you a general idea of what the included covers will look like. Expect a good chunk of the records to have ring wear, edge wear, split seams, names written on the covers or other cosmetic defects as these are vintage vinyl records!
