THE BEATLES - Revolver
Ultra rare 1966 UK withdrawn first pressing 14-track mono LP
With 'Sold in U.K.' and 'Gramophone Co' label credits
Matrix XEX 606-1 matrix on Side 2
indicating the original 'Mix 11' of Tomorrow Never Knows, which was only ever released on this pressing.
The differences on pressing is that Lennon's vocal has less effects in parts [particularly on the first verse], some of the tape loops are more prominent and, perhaps most noticeably, the outro features several seconds more of the 'honky-tonk' style piano fade.
This issue was quickly withdrawn at George Martin's behest and replaced with the version we all know and love.
The labels have 'Sold In The UK' & 'Gramophone Co' label text & 'Dr. Robert' spelling on the sleeve & label creditsHoused in a Garrod & Lofthouse "patents pending" front laminated flipback picture sleeve with patent pending
The black and yellow Parlophone labels are in great condition with the text being bright and clearly legible.
The vinyl shows a number of surface scuffs & hairlines but these cannot be felt & giving this copy a VG condition grading.
The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve has some light edgewear and creasing to the laminate (See photo's)

This is one of 10000 singles LP's, 12” and 7" that I HAVE COLLECTED OVER THE LAST 30 YEARS; they run from the 1950's to the 2000's and cover every style of music.
I am slowly listing them one by one and they are in a verity of condition, most are good or very good, with some in shop purchased condition (i.e. Like new), I don’t have time to play every record listed, (well only the ones I want to listen to), therefore I can’t vouch for the playing condition of this item, however if you want to know how it plays please ask and I will play it and let you know if there is any excessive hissing, scratches and what condition the vinyl is in.
I have kept most of these records for 30+ years plus so my goal is to make sure they arrive with you in the same condition that I have kept them, enjoy bidding and please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them
The record will be packaged in a protective plastic cover and be despatched in a custom cardboard record sleeve with a cardboard backer.
If you purchase more than one single the cost of Shipping is an additional 50p per item won.
If you purchase over 5 singles they are posted in a thick cardboard record box rather than a standard record postage sleeve at no extra cost, which means they are protected from the weather and the postal service, every item has proof of postage.
If you purchase over 5 items and you live are outside the UK, then before we confirm the final shipping costs we need to check with the post office as there may be an additional costs dependent on weight for shipping outside of the UK and as such we may ask for an higher amount than an extra 50p per extra item depending which part of the world you live in and how many items you have purchased.
